“Getting Ready for BRT: Bus Transportation and Transit-oriented Development in New Jersey.”
Bus Rapid Transit is a new frontier in the US. In its infancy in NJ, there is a unique opportunity to ensure it develops in a way that helps leverage private development and becomes part of a broader economic development and smart growth strategy. This multidisciplinary panel will explore notable BRT projects for insight into what’s required to leverage bus nodes and/or corridors for private development and discuss some of the promising opportunities in NJ. Fang will be joined by Vivian Baker, New Jersey Transit; Niek Veraart, AICP, ASLA from The Louis Berger Group; and Patricia Adell, Real Estate Solutions Group, LLC. Please visit the conference’s website for additional information.
