The State of Connecticut selected EE&K, in a joint venture with a local architecture firm, Preiss Breismeister P.C. Architects, to provide court planning and full architectural services for a new justice facility. Located on the edge of downtown, the Stamford Courthouse Complex includes the design and construction of an eight-story, 252,000 square-foot courthouse with 24 courtrooms and an on-site parking structure for approximately 500 cars. The courtrooms include arraignment, civil, criminal, housing and family courts.
